The VERSA COMM+4.LPCI board provides four Async RS-232 ports in a Low Profile compliant form factor. Designed using the XR16C850 UART, the COMM+4.LPCI supports standard PC data rates and boasts a top speed of 460.8K bps. The XR16C850 provides a 128-byte FIFO to allow datacom applications to run error free. The board includes a 6' cable available terminated into 4 DB-25 connectors or 4 DB-9 connectors.

The COMM+4.LPCI meets the requirements for the MD1 "Low Profile" specification as defined by PCISIG in PCI 2.2 "Low Profile Addendum." We ship each adapter with both the low profile bracket and the standard profile PCI slot bracket, offering the customer versatility in installation. The COMM+4.LPCI also features a Universal Bus (3.3 and 5.0V) as required by PCISIG specifications 2.3.

We include our Advanced COM drivers for Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000 providing IRQ sharing, Windows serial diagnostics, and other enhanced features. Our Linux and QNX utilities are also included to simplify installation.
